Ben Kendall, Activation Manager, Hedgehog Team.

Meet Ben

Ben was one of the first employees of the new Hedgehog team, and has been instrumental in getting the idea off the ground.

Outside of work, he's a fan of IPA's and doggos.

How long have you worked at Wireless Social?

I passed my year anniversary (what a crazy year!) in January so I’m now into my second year.

What’s the best thing about working at Wireless Social?

Definitely the culture - everyone is hugely supportive, creative, and absolutely lovely!

Who’s your favourite employee - shout out time!

What a tough question! I love the whole team at Wireless Social and get on well with everyone. I’ve got to say though that working with Hannah in the Hedgehog team has been a blast!

What’s your favourite client to visit and eat at on the weekend?

There’s a lot of great ones to pick from but a personal favourite is Dishoom (can’t beat those Okra Fries!)

What’s your most exciting thing to work on at Wireless Social?

That’s easy, it’s developing Hedgehog! Although it’s already an incredible solution, it feels like almost every week I head to John, our head of product development, with a (usually ridiculous) idea about new features we can add to make it even better.

What’s your favourite quote you’ve ever heard a colleague say?

“Win, win, win!” It’s a phrase our CEO, Julian, always uses when talking about Hedgehog and the team has taken it as our mantra, asking in everything we do “does the consumer, operator, and the brand win if we do this?”

Best piece of advice to anyone working here?

Talk to everyone and get to know the team. There’s some amazing people in our team who are genuinely lovely and will do anything to help you if you’re in a pickle - all you need to do is ask!
