Adventure Bars
Adventure Bars is an eclectic group of 11 bars including Tonight Josephine, Bar Elba and Blame Gloria, with signature cocktails and Instagrammable interiors.
Overview
The Challenge
In July 2020 the government announced that bars and restaurants would be allowed to re-open after their closure during the Covid-19 lockdown. With footfall varying in different areas, it was hard for some operators to balance which central London sites to open.
Our Insights
This posed a dilemma to many multi-venue operators in deciding which venues to open, and when there would be enough passing trade to make opening the business viable.
Adventure Bars got in touch regarding their site in Sevendials. They used our Presence sensors to review the footfall directly outside their venue, but they also wanted a wider scope of the area.
Our Solution
Alongside our weekly footfall reports, Wireless Social analysed anonymised footfall data from the general Seven Dials and Covent Garden areas of London and presented the findings to Adventure Bars for them to make an informed decision about re-opening. They reopened the site a week later.
